Was just watching KPTV news and they are reporting Roy is out with a Sore back from the magic game. If this is already posted please delete.

bayless will get abused. but so will everyone elseWell that sucks. It will be fun to see what kind of messed up lineups Nate concocts tonight. We SHOULD see a lot of Jerryd Bayless. He is the only player on our roster that can come close to staying in front of Wade. If it were me I'd start Bayless to keep our second unit intact

I'm interested in seeing how Rudy handles being the focus of the defense. Wade better have his track shoes on because he's going to be chasing Rudy all night. Although Rudy's going to get abused by Wade on offense.
no way. wade is money on defense and has made first team all nba defense(if not first, then i know he has second team)Seems to me that Wade gives up most of what he gets. He's more concerned with offense than defense. Rudy should be able to get open. It should be fun to watch how they run their offense with out Roy slowing it down. But then again it could get ugly.

Wade is a good defender in spurts - but he does concentrate more on offense, that is true. The place where Wade does give back to the opposite team is with turn-overs. More than 4 per game this year (and almost 4 for his career).
He is still a great player. I think that a healthy Wade has only Kobe to combat for the title of 2nd best player in the NBA.
especially against wadeSeeing more of Rudy wouldn't be a bad thing, and seeing Bayless out there get some burn would be nice to see.
But if the game is on the line, that's when Roy will be missed...

hmm. i was thinking batum on beaselyI think we'll see a lot of Batum on him.. Nicolas played well against Parker, but yeah... Wade might tear us up tonight.
But I thought Marion is out for Miami too?

In order for the Blazers to win this game, they are going to need a hell of a game from Aldridge on the inside. But looking at Miami, he should have a pretty good size advantage there.

Well... I think Beasley is way too strong for Batum. Based on Miami's last starting lineup I'd put:
Blake/Sergio on Mario Chalmers
Batum on Wade (for a bit to see how that works)
Rudy on Diawara/Daequan Cook
Aldridge/Outlaw on Beasley
Oden/Joel on Haslem
They only go eight deep..
