What about Shawn Marion?
Marion said he hopes treatment will allow him to heal enough to play but that he would be cautious because he does not want the groin injury to linger.
Coach Erik Spoelstra said Marion is a quick healer but the Heat wants to be careful. Spoelstra noted that Marion seemed to be moving better.
it hurts roy to stand up? and he is going to play? maybe he should sit todays game out and play fridayRoy, who has been experiencing lower back spasms since the last minute of Monday's win in Orlando, said he is "90-to-95 percent" sure he will play in the nationally televised (ESPN) game.
"The only thing I'm a little worried about is when I go from the bent position to straight up really fast,'' Roy said. "I woke up this morning like, 'Man, if I had just one more day - if the game was tomorrow night - I would be perfect. But that's not the case. I'm hoping once I warm up tonight it will get even better.''
After talking to Roy while we were both seated on the press table at AmericanAirlines Arena, Roy sat up and rose to his feet.
"See, right there,'' Roy said. "That's when it hurts.''
Roy said he plans to engage in a hard pregame workout tonight, during which he will experiment executing all his moves.
"Who knows, in warmups I might do some move and it might lock up,'' Roy said. "And I might have to tell coach, 'As bad as I want to, I can't move'. But we will see. The good thing is it's not the heel or knee.''

I think you are forgetting about LaBron. King James has led teams that wouldn't make the playoffs in the d-league to the playoffs in the NBA. Wade, when faced with the same adversity, mailed it in.

I was wondering about that... When he went to the bench in the Orlando game, the camera caught a shot of someone helping him wrap a thick towel around his neck. It looked like there was probably a heat or ice pack underneath. Didn't seem to affect his play when he went back in, though.Look for Aldridge to float tonight because of his sore neck

Roy is Portland's best perimeter defender, but second on that list is probably Jerryd Bayless, who hasn't played much so far this season. I wouldn't be shocked to see Bayless get some minutes tonight, simply to defend Wade.
On Miami's side, Shawn Marion sat out their last game on Monday, with a sore groin. Even though it's still bothering him, he's expected to play tonight.
I did not forget LeBron at all. I clearly said that he has only Kobe to combat for the title of 2nd best player in the league. It is clear who #1 is...
Sore back FROM the Magic game. Again, anyone else heard this?
Hold on there, I hate Kobe but he's still the best player in the world. Consider this who would you rather have in the final 2 minutes of a game? For me it's easy Kobe, Wade and then Lebron. Nothing against Lebron he's easily the most talented but when it comes to crunch time there is no better player than Kobe. Lebron still has trouble hitting his free throws and has moments where he seems scared at the end of games that he's going to have to shoot free throws so he passes. Kobe thrives in these situations. That's coming from a Laker/Kobe hater.
