Roy should shut it down

Besides pain and swelling it doesn't really effect the function of your knee.

With 6+ days of rest, I'm hoping Brandon will be ready to go for Game 1. The key, I think, will be how his body responds to treatment in between playoff games. Thankfully, there won't be any back-to-back games once the post-season begins.

It's the most common knee injury. Besides pain and swelling it doesn't really effect the function of your knee. It's true he cannot make it worse, once its torn its torn.
That may be true in general terms, but there's a couple big problems with that line of thinking when you view it as a recurring injury. Granted, it's the first time Roy has done it on that knee, but with three similar injuries on the other knee (I think they were all miniscus tears), the likelihood of re-injury or tearing it worse seem more than the minimal risk supposedly outlined by the team docs. There's a big difference between a small tear and a totally shot miniscus...

If he can play through the pain and produce, go for it. If his play on a bad wheel is a detriment, sit.
