if no picture shows up for some

oh damn, thats why I loved rubio last year, he makes some dangerous passes but they are so damn awesome to see.

someone on tweeter said it went between his legs and the defenders legs. I don't think thats true. But either way, it's impressive as hell.

Ricky is amazing. Watching him dice up DAL on LP right now (free preview going on, btw).

What happened to Love?

Awful decision by Ricky there. Not only did he take a bad shot, but he left time on the clock.

He's actually 3 months younger than Dame. I think he, Steph (if healthy), Ricky, and Russell will dominate the West PG spots on the all star team for years to come.

One of them will always be snubbed and its going to lead to some fun debates.

Shit, Sergio could do that. Sans Sarge, of course.

Say what you want about Sergio's weaknesses, and it's probably true, but that guy could hit his teammates in perfect shooting rhythm like no one else -- until McMuffin strangled his creativity.

I don't see why, only Westbrook will be on an elite team.

Rubio with the international vote. As soon as next year I see him as West starter going forward.

Westbrook has been on the team and will continue to be on the team each year unless he magically fell of a cliff in play.

So between Dame and Steph. On pure play you could make a case for Dame next year (I would hope at least). However Curry really only has the injury issue going against him. Don't wish injury on any player but I think this is no slam dunk for Lillard in the foreseeable future.

I think Lillard will be in the position Terry Porter was in, playing in the same conference with KJ, Hardaway and Stockton.

Not a bad analogy. And Porter made it twice which isn't too bad. In looking at his stats he had a gripe two other seasons as well but 2 out of 4 is probably to be expected.

I remember Rudy used to make passes like that too.

Didn't Sergio Rodriguez have some great passes like that as well?

If there's anyone there's anyone that's the king of the "holy shit" passes though, it's gotta be J-Will in his Sacramento days. He had full reign to make whatever stupid passes he wanted to make. He'd turn the ball over a lot and screw up the flow of a lot of possessions, but when he actually got some of those passes to stick, it was like nothing I'd seen before, especially given the speed he'd make the passes at.

On that note, I just saw that Rubio was only #4 on Sportscenter top 10 with this pass. That's a shame.

What would ya'll rather see - an unbelievable pass or an unbelievable dunk?

For me, it's easy,... the pass. Unless it's someone jumping over Frederick Weiss, I'd rather see someone weaving the ball through multiple defenders. That's where the skill's at.

Mentions of Stockton, KJ etc, and I just had to go back and relive some of the glorious late 80's early 90's NBA.

Good series on youtube about the great PG's entitled 'Below the Rim'. Should check it out if you haven't seen it.
As well as the guys above, others include Tim Hardaway, Isiah Thomas, Chris Jackson, Kenny Anderson & Mark Price (now there's a guy that's underrated)

A mention of Jason Williams. The dude could just make you smile with a pass. . .

How is no one mentioning Magic during that period? It was the tail end of his career and he missed a year or so, but he still factored heavily into the all-star game.

always loved this one, off the elbow for style points

Jason Williams was so much fun his rookie year. Then the national pundits got on him for lack of defense (I think the real reason was the marijuana) and he played with less creativity the rest of his career.

...it's true, watch closely -- it goes through both of their legs :sherlock:

Not true, unfortunately; if you open each frame separately, you can see the ball "in front of" #42's legs (that is, 42 is between the ball and the camera). Frames 21 and 22.

how are you able to watch it frame by frame?
