OK. Rudy's shooting is streaky and he's had some rough stretches shooting the ball that have hurt his average. His shooting percentage isn't as good as most of us think it should be. But in watching Rudy and the team when he's on the court, I think he provides a lot of spark, hustle, player movement and ball movement that seems at least to my non-statistically dependent eye to make the team and his teammates better. I think he makes his teammates better, and he makes big plays. At the very least, the game is more fun for me to watch when he's flying all over the place disrupting the other team's offense. You have to get up pretty early in the morning to beat Rudy to a loose ball. He disrupts a lot of plays and does other things that don't show up in individual stats. His constant movement on offense and his ability to make a quick three forces the other team to pay attention to him and distracts them from our other players. He's as happy getting an assist as making a basket. I wouldn't start him, but I like what he brings off the bench.
