Rudy plays very good team defense. He caused at least 3-4 turnovers from Miami tonight. His man-to-man defense isn't great but he has the tools (anticipation, IQ) to become a very good man-to-man defender when he bulks up a bit.

Agreed. Certainly not a lockdown defender, but he's disruptive to what the other team is trying to do. And he's not annoying like a Ginobili type of way where he flops every time he gets touched. He stays strong, sacrifices his body to take charges and will get in the passing lanes.

I like that he actually plays the passing lane for steals because last year our team was horrid at steals.

him and batum are very good at that..i loved batums block on wade. wade tried to get an easy lay up and batum was having none of that!1

Definitely the sort of guy you hate playing against ... but have a ton of respect for after the game.

It's a good skill to have. Rudy flops well while shooting threes, just like James Jones.
its hard to see when he is on your team but he does. i wonder if the league is really gonna crack down and fine players? ginobli is out so they probably dont see the relevance lol
