Rumor: Lambeir to coach Knicks?

I heard on ESPN that Bill Lambeir was a candidate for the knicks job. I think that he could be a great fit in New York because he brings a toughnes that the Knicks lack. If he can somehow find a way to co-exist with Isiah Thomas(if that's possible) they could resurect the franchise.

The thread title is deceiving. If you added a question mark at the end, than it would be better because I really thought Laimbeer was coaching the Knicks. Next time, please post in the Official Coaching Discussion Thread with your opinions. Thanks.
