<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Saddam, half brother sentenced to death1 minute agoBAGHDAD, Iraq -Saddam Hussein and his half brother were convicted and sentenced Sunday to death by hanging for war crimes in the 1982 killings of 148 people in the town of Dujail, as the visibly shaken former leader shouted "God is great!"After the verdict was read, a trembling Saddam yelled out, "Life for the glorious nation, and death to its enemies!"In addition to the former Iraqi dictator and Barzan Ibrahim, his half brother, the Iraqi High Tribunal convicted and sentenced Awad Hamed al-Bandar, the head ofIraq's former Revolutionary Court, to death by hanging. Iraq's former Vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan was convicted of premeditated murder and sentenced to life in prison.Three other co-defendants were convicted of murder and torture and sentenced to up to 15 years in prison. One defendant was acquitted for lack of evidence.Clashes with police broke out in north Baghdad's heavily Sunni Azamiyah district after the verdict against Saddam was announced.</div>

Hanging huh I'm suprised they still do that, I gues the trial was in KKK central.Well IMO this is the only good thing that has come out of this meaningless war.

After some of the shit he's done, he doesn't deserve to live. But yeah, pretty much the only good thing to come from this war.

It's all about the oil!!! The Shah of Iran in the 70's was a bigger dick than Saddam.

Everyone knew Saddam would get the death penalty. At least the trial appears to be over, unless they appeal which I'd bet on.

His trial was really a shame for the most part. I think it is pretty funny that the US is responsible for having put him in power in the first place and then yank the cord on him later.

what the hell does Brunell gotta do with this

When they kick the trap door out, and he falls, it sounds like a bowling ball hitting the pins.

They don't give a hoot what goes on as long as we get cheap oil. If we cared about the government so much, we didn't we do anything to the Shah of Iran in the 70's. He was a way bigger dick than Saddam
