Hopefully this is the first warning shot fired by Gorton or Sather or whoever. Samuelsson quietly was hired by the Canes today. The guy failed miserably coaching the PK this year-just couldn't adjust to the point that the Rangers looked clueless at times. It was sickening to watch our D try to use his signature move of going to one knee near the goal line all year while opponents had their way in front of our net. Good riddance !

The team just doesn't have the footspeed or quickness to be a quality pk unit. It takes 2 people to cover one person so the math doesn't work there.
