I lol'd.

well, that pretty much kills any chance she has at being taken as a serious candidate for President. If there was any chance in the first place.

here's what fox news watchers can look forward to...

Good for her! Fox's ratings should continue to climb up the charts.

I'm sure she's thought all that through.

As an aside, Mike Huckabee has stated that he still might consider running................and he's currently on the Fox News staff. :dunno:

Many of Fox News shows are killing. Simply killing.

I love Fox News. :)

Killing what? Respectable discourse?

Besides, just because something is popular doesn't mean it's good. You may think that sounds elitist, but I refuse to accept that American Idol is the best thing on TV for five years straight.

Personally I will be watching to see what she says.

I don't give Palin a lot of political crediblity. But you have to recognize that she speaks for a very passionate, and rather large, group of Americans.

I don't agree with her on a majority of things, but to ignore her is to ignore a rising political mindset that is currently present in our country.

yeah they especially kill in the rural housewife and lonely pervert demographic- thats palin's base.

Huckabee stands no chance either.

If the Republicans want to have a serious go at the 2012 election (which, with the way nothing seems to have been done yet, they can), they need to seriously go against the normal "pick a religious guy" mantra.

They need to step away from the Fox News/Glen Beck/Rush Limbaugh Republicans, and go more towards the regular republicans who aren't clamoring for tea parties, and birth certificates, and the other tin-foil shit they do.

The Republicans themselves have done more damage to the party, by allowing a bigoted, ignorant and sexist minority of their party control it.

Less Rush and Glen would do the party a HUGE favor.

Yeah, I hear ya regarding the Republican Party needing to take a serious examination of themselves, their values, and their strategy moving forth. Should be interesting.

Speaking of interesting, have you noticed the race heating up in Massachusetts between Scott Brown(R) and Martha Coakley(D)? As Laugh In's Artie Johnson once remarked, "Vely Intelething."

which still pales in comparison to the ratings and #'s on the alphabets...

Right, where most people go to be entertained. Even though the news has done its best to become entertainment instead of a reliable source of information (Fox started this trend), they still can't hold a candle to America's three loves: American Idol, NFL and WWE.

I meant the news. NBC averages almost 10 million viewers per night for their news. Most people get their news from NBC, ABC and CBS, not Fox News. Fox News just has a more vocal, and obvious bias in their news (that they mask as "commentary", as does MSNBC and CNN).

But you don't see NBC News creating rallies for causes their hosts believe in, or fluffing the #'s for crowds there.

They do, however, blow up Chevrolet trucks.

Sure, but relatively speaking.........

Oh, nevermind. :sigh:

That's where Fox brings the "fair and balanced" part. That is, in comparison/relation to the liberal alphabet networks.

I'm not a Sarah Palin fan as a politician, but I think in the generally harmless world of cable political punditry she'll be okay to listen to.

What he said.

Please, MSNBC and CNN are just as bad, if not worse, than Fox. They are just as unbalanced towards the left as Fox is towards the right. Liberals just hate Fox because it's the only station that has an opinion other than their own.

Personally I'm not a fan of the current Republican party, but it's the religious stuff, their stance on gay marriage, stem cell research, and abortions, that sets me apart from them. I think their opinion on illegal immigration is dead on, and I wish they would fight the bailouts and stupid taxes more.

is that a good thing?

Why does Fox News exist other than to make money/get good ratings?

Of course getting higher ratings is a good thing.

Ed O.

they aren't even close to being fair and balanced. It's silly to keep that lie going.
