Or so I have heard. A real shame, because I thought that Orgeron would be the guy for USC. I suppose with Petersen, Sumlin, and J.Franklin locked up Haden had no other options.

I would have stuck with Coach O. Players and alumni love him.

But hey, Fuskies get weaker and USC gets a hack coach.

As someone who follows UW a bit more than UO (and hates the U of Spoiled Children), this hurts a bit. But it'll hurt more if he takes Wilcox and Lupoi with him. They're recruiting studs.

Chances are they will. Imagine USC having both Oregeron, Tosh, AND Wilcox? Eeeeesh.

kind of a reality check for those freaking out about Helfrich. A school in those recruiting grounds can only pull Sark for their job

That's hilarious, but the bad news of it is that he's reportedly taking Justin Wilcox and Tosh Lupoi with him from UW.
Hopefully UW doesn't hire Chris Petersen, the watch is on to see who the Huskies hire...how about Ed Orgeron? That would be the ultimate UW trolling.

I don't get the Sark hate. I would take him 10 times of 10 over, say, Kevin Sumlin or Chris Petersen. Is he Nick Saban, Jr? Nope. Is he Pete Carroll? Probably not. Is he a guy on the good side of 40 who knows and likes USC, and has had success building a program from Dumpster Fire status to pretty decent and getting better? Yeah, I'd say so.

If you were Pat Hagen, who would you go after? From the named finalists (Petersen, Del Rio, Sark, Franklin) and even the out-there candidates rumored (Gruden or Sumlin), Gruden's the only one I'd take over Sark, and Gruden's a pipe dream. And if you get Lupoi and Wilcox, too?
