I just got to thinking, wouldn't it make sense for DishNetwork or DirecTV to go ahead and buy XM and/or Sirius satellite radio?
Dish/Direct already provide music from them, anyway. However, in this scenario, they could could offer the complete listings, then upcharge the television customer, say, an additional $5.95 per month.
Plus, they could sell independently, as well, to any of those radio subscribers that prefer..... such as the ones that have car units, etc.
Sound like a plan?
