Williams Drops a Bit in Rookie Rankings
January 16, 2008, 3:12 pm Rookie rankings are in for the week and Sean Williams has dropped in two stay steady in the other. In Sports Illustrated and NBA.com?€™s rankings, Williams has dropped from #4 to #6 while in ESPN?€™s rankings, he remains at #5. The reason: Williams had ?€œalmost as many fouls (11) in three games as he did points (12)?€? as NBA?€™s Dave McMenamin points out. Dave Thorpe of ESPN gives Williams credit for being around the rim but adds he would be ?€œeven more valuable?€? with a big man.

On ESPN I think it was, they did the redraft and they had him going at 6th.

Big man? What about Boone? He had been playing real well since being inserted as a starter.

As I mentioned before, Sean is putting up some nice numbers in the games he plays. Good sign for when he starts to get calls his way.
