The one over Robinson is probably the best but I have an affinity for the one vs the Lakers where he parts the Purple Piss Sea.

Where was the wild pass from Kersey in 92 playoffs? It looked like Kersey was throwing the ball out of bounds but out of nowhere Clyde slammed it down. That was the one where Magic Johnson, announcing, said to call him Mr. Glide.

Guess I'm a rookie. How do you make it so the video is up and not the link?

Nobody played defense in the old days. :D

I vehemently disagree. How long have you been watching the NBA? You used to be able to handcheck, now you can't even touch (save what's called a hot stove touch) the dribbler.

When you post a message you will see a little icon that looks like a strip of film. Click that and paste your link into it.

That was awesome!!!

Tip for the rookie - put the topic of your post in the title! "Clyde the Glide Top 10 Dunks" for example.

The last dunk over Ewing (he played defense!)

Another dunk over Ewing by a former Blazer:

I love that strut over and how he reacts to Spike Lee!

I miss the days when they packed it with an exclamation mark. None of this finessing it as you see from some guys, Nic Batum included.

With that said, Clyde Drexler is by far my favorite Blazer of all time and the most aesthetically pleasing NBA ball player off all time

nice to see U finally left the cesspool at Olive, I rarely post there anymore

Also, notice the complete lack of flopping in those videos. Guys played through the contact and didn't look for the refs to bail them out.

Yeah, but they didn't have to worry about the ticky-tack fouls when on defense too.

Exactly, the refs let them play - at both ends. You didn't have defenders flopping around like fish. And, on offense, guys played through the contact instead of looking to the refs to bail them out at the slightest touch.

T'was Vlade Divac who invented the flop. He should be PUBLICLY drawn and quartered for that!

Yes! I occaisionally stroll over there to see what's shakin'. More trolling and whining from the Whiny Bitch Club. I've seen enough. I have noticed absolutely NO trolling on this site. I probably will never go back.

<--------------- Plus, The more times I post in there, the less I post in here. A brotha needs to get his rep up! :lift:

Stick around.

Oh Batum can throw it down. I think he needs to gain about 15+ in lean muscle though. If he could be more assertive on offense he could do this more:

Can't wait until Portland gets a good NBA player with a fuck you, I will dominate you attitude

I think we got one:

Assertive behavior on the floor was destroyed by 1) the 25 Points of Morality or whatever it was called (in other words, by those who wanted the old team blown up) and 2) McMillan's demand for an unemotional, businesslike, slow, uncreative playing style.

We got rid of half of the causes, McMillan, but the Oregonian remains steadfastly opposed to the player attitude that makes NBA teams elite.

This logic is destroyed by the OKC Thunder. Are you saying there is one player on that team (maybe Perk) that they wouldn't want here?

Also Brandon Roy was pretty damn Assertive. To say LA isn't assertive simply isn't giving him props. He does average 21+.

In closing, I disagree. :touche:

Roy moved around like Clyde, but needed to hog the ball to do so, while Clyde didn't. Aldridge is a good example of McMillan-era passivity. Hickson was a breath of fresh air after years of watching Aldridge.

You weren't here when I singlehandedly saved Hickson's job. After Olshey cut him, I campaigned in a thread on this board that Hickson is a big deal. Olshey recconsidered after losing Hibbert and signed Hickson. Never question my judgment.
