Recently Hal Stienbrenner was quoted as saying that he doesn't like to be rash about firing people the way his old man was. Wait.......WHAT!? Who the hell has Hal EVER fired?

A better question might be: What does somebody in a big job with the Yankees have to do to get fired?

Indeed, seems there is no such thing as Performance Management Plans, or Goals, listed specifically enough with finite details, specific enough to say, we want a World Series ring; without detailing the necessary steps along the way, to reach said Goals..... Yep, DETAILS.....

This is usually the time of year when Kim gets Pneumonia. Hot 95 degree days, with cold low 40 degree nights. It gets hard to adapt, when it goes from hot to cold so quickly. I've seen days in this damned Mojave Desert, where the temp changes so drastically. I've seen such changes as drastic as an 80 degree variance, from 5 am, to 3pm.

Kim's Doctor is worried as Kim's lungs are very congested, rattling, wheezing...!

PM me if you can Rick. I'd love to hear about your vacation to God's Country. I bet you had a blast in the Springs. I still have an Aunt/Uncle, and a couple of Cousins, still living in the shadows of Pike's Peak, damn I love that Country of Colorado.

The most breathtaking motorcycle ride I ever experienced, was going up Independence Pass from the South at Twin Lakes, and driving north until I was at 12,000 feet on top of the Continental Divide, until I crested on top of the Mt. overlooking Aspen.....I do know 1st hand, what John Denver felt when he wrote Rocky Mt. High. "Talk to God and listen to the casual reply"...!

Maybe Hal should take a look at those incompetents running the scouting/farm system.

And, what's going to become of Gary Sanchez as he approaches his early 20s with McCann signed for a few more years?
Any SS prospects in the pipeline? The must've known Jeter wasn't going to play forever - back in 2012!!!!
Not so sure it was a good idea trading that power hitting 1b kid O'Brien for Prado...I like Prado, but he's also not a kid anymore AND he's a free agent after the 2015 season.
I won't be surprised to see O'Brien in a year or two hitting AT LEAST just as many HRs/RBI as anyone the Yanks will have on 1B....for much less money. lol
