my benchmark for Shae this year was Jaylen Brown in year 2.Season Averages: 20.2/5.6/3.0 on .461/.375/.864
Also almost a steal and block a game.
I don't like the general concept of a player getting injured, and losing their spot after they get back, HOWEVER, I think he should definitely be the starting 2 when Ant gets back.Clearly the best player on the team.
why can't shae start at 3? his defense is so much improved.I don't like the general concept of a player getting injured, and losing their spot after they get back, HOWEVER, I think he should definitely be the starting 2 when Ant gets back.
People freaking out about Scoot should notice that Clyde, the FUCKING GLIDE, Drexler only averaged 7.7pts 3boards and 2 assists coming into the league at 21, two years older than Scoot. Give the kid time, touches and watch him shine!Drexler, for reference:

Apparently, he played some PG tonight. What can't he do?why can't shae start at 3? his defense is so much improved.
my benchmark for Shae this year was Jaylen Brown in year 2.
He put up: 15/5/2 on .465/.395/.644 in 31 mpg.
Shaedon's playmaking is a serious threat. Exceeding even my most optimistic expectations.

absolutely!People freaking out about Scoot should notice that Clyde, the FUCKING GLIDE, Drexler only averaged 7.7pts 3boards and 2 assists coming into the league at 21, two years younger than Scoot. Give the kid time, touches and watch him shine!
Turn out to be a Bust like Bingo Bango said?Apparently, he played some PG tonight. What can't he do?
I don't want to shock you, but I literally have him on ignore.Turn out to be a Bust like Bingo Bango said?
"Bingo Bango said: ↑
"I consider Simons and Sharpe to be the same kind of players. Flashy, talented, explosive—but not smart enough or disciplined enough to be great all-around players. I think Sharpe is going to be a bust. He’s probably already hit his ceiling."
To his credit he admitted this was a bad call! And I DO give credit for that. Takes a big man to own up, and he did so props to him.I don't want to shock you, but I literally have him on ignore.
Shae has a much better handle... And more athletic...my benchmark for Shae this year was Jaylen Brown in year 2.
He put up: 15/5/2 on .465/.395/.644 in 31 mpg.
Shaedon's playmaking is a serious threat. Exceeding even my most optimistic expectations.
This is why I question Chauncey Billups.Clearly the best player on the team.
If that's your concern, check out the Billups postgame. No, seriously, check it out. He yanked both Scoot and Sharpe for playing bad defense. "You say you want to be great, there are 2 sides of the ball." (not an exact quote). The game just comes effortless to him. Even when he’s doing things athletically that 90% of the NBA can’t do, he does it nonchalantly.
I remember saying he had a superstar talent right off the bat in his rookie year. My concern has always been whether he had the hunger for greatness. Now I’m starting to think that is just how he is and doesn’t wear his competitiveness on his sleeve.
With Ant and Scoot starting we needed bench scoring...Scoot might not be starting over him when Ant gets back. This is why I question Chauncey Billups.
After what Sharpe showed at the end of last season, he could he not put Sharpe in the starting lineup?
In his first season, one of his most recognizable abilities was finishing after contact. We’re about to see what it looks like when defenses key in on him. If he ends up able to adjust to the pressure he’s about to get a shit ton of free throw attempts.
Who knows? With Ant and Scoot starting we needed bench scoring...Scoot might not be starting over him when Ant gets back.
Exceeding even my wildest expectations as well, although only through five games.my benchmark for Shae this year was Jaylen Brown in year 2.
He put up: 15/5/2 on .465/.395/.644 in 31 mpg.
Shaedon's playmaking is a serious threat. Exceeding even my most optimistic expectations.
Billups needs to make it happen. Jerami Grant and Simons are not equals to Sharpe, and I'm afraid he might think the opposite.Exceeding even my wildest expectations as well, although only through five games.
This was Kobe’s year 3, but here was his age 20 statline: 19.9/5.3/3.8 on .465/.267/.839
Edwards year 2: 21.3/4.8/3.8 on .441/.357/.786
SGA year 2: 19.0/5.9/3.3 on .471/.347/.807
Jordan year 2: 22.7/3.6/2.9 on .457/.167/.840
His development is only exponential at this point, not linear. Is it at the point now that we speak it into existence and optimistically expect him to have a stat line around Jordan’s year 3? Maybe this time next year through five games, we’ll be having this same convo while he averages 38ppg lol.
