OT Shooting At Nationals - Padres Game

There was a shooting at the Padres - Nationals game outside the Nationals park at gate 3.

A man and woman were shot as well as possibly two others who showed up at the hospital with injuries.

Fans were initially asked to stay in the stadium before they were evacuated. Padre players open the gate so fans could come hide in the dugout. Other fans hid in bathrooms or suites or ran from the arena.

It appears to have been a drive by shooting.

I can't joke about people shot at a baseball game...had to erase it...and it was a good joke too until I realized how detached I am from drive by at a ball game...my first thought sadly was...wow..thankfully only a few people died..this shit is getting too regular

Been to that stadium many times when my dad was working over there. Their house was walking distance to the stadium (on Fort McNair). Not gonna lie, that 10 block walk is a through pretty rough neighborhood. El Prezs speculation seems about right.
