At this point, yes. I'd be all in for a Timelord-Simons-28 FRP for Zion.

I don't know why NO would take Simons, though, when they already have CJ, unless they want to run Blazers 2019 Backcourt v.2, Electric No Defense Boogaloo.

I think they would be much more interested in Timelord or Ayton/Grant/and a first, maybe sprinkle in a 2nd somewhere. Just as long as Scoot/Sharpe/Deni/Tou/Clingan are off the table.

At some point, you have to stop "developing" and start trying to win. I think the end of the season showed that the Blazers are ready to take that next step. Swing for the fences, Joe!

Healthy he is virtually unguardable. Depends on the price I would imagine. Tou or Deni maybe DC would be wanted by NOP for sure

Depending on cost this is the big swing that Rip city should try.

I'm all for it at the right price. If this year's first ends up at 10, then I'd do that pick, Ayton and Scoot if they want him.

More trades would have to follow.

If the Pels want Scoot and Ayton, we'd have a starting core of Ant, Deni, Toumani, Zion and Clingan.

Ant's got to go, if the thing you hang your hat on is defense.

I think with Deni and Zion both having playmaking abilities that you could start Shaedon in Ant's place and be pretty damn great.

Yes, for the right price. Anything that includes Sharpe Avdija or Camara is overpayment

They are suggesting a trade center around either Ayton or Grant, Scoot and #10 for Zion and Alvarado. Or go crazy and do Ayton, Grant, Scoot and #10 and a couple of future picks for Zion, ,CJ and Alvarado.

they who?

If the price is right and with Zion’s heavily protected contract, a trade makes some sense. If the protections kick in, they can bail on the contract, and they accomplished trading veteran contracts. If Zion is healthy, it’s a serious score.

Trading 1st rounders or Sharpe are tipping points for a no trade.
Scoot? Maybe, maybe not.
Trading Ant, Grant, Ayton in some combination works.
Trading Toumani or Deni is a no. And the Pels already have Herb Jones and Trey Murphy.

EDIT: I expect to go back and forth on for and against a trade for Zion. There are a handful of players/trades I’m up for and none of them include trading Clingan, Deni, Toumani … and few would include Sharpe.

No thanks. Zion does not have the desire & drive to be great & win. He’s seems to be one of those guys who’s in it for a nice paycheck, doesn’t really care about winning.

Literally don’t know more of what’s going on, than anybody on this forum!

But that doesn’t mean Mike isn’t knowledgeable when talking about the team. He never pretends to have insight (compare to Marang) and is very humble and clear about what he knows and doesn’t know

No on all counts, tyvm. We'd need all of those guys if we ever got a healthy season out of Zion.

Trading Scoot at this point would be complete stupidity.
Yeah, unless you know you're trading for an unknown future superstar PG, I agree.

Sounds like Bert Kolde and Jody.

Oh shit. This might actually happen...
