And the record holder for the most HRs in a season is........................Matt Williams. 1994 strike shortened season where he had 43 HRs after only 115 games & was on pace for 65.

Sorry but I had to get away from all the A-Rod shit.

...fwiw, Dmitri Young, George Bell and Tuffy Rhodes all hit 3 HRs on opening day...(on target for 486 HRs) HA!!!

...did the 1995 season take up where the 1994 season left off?

...did Ruth play in a 162 game season in 1927?

...did Maris play in a 154 game season in 1961?

...am eye see, kay he why, am oh you as he?

My answer to all your questions is yes. Your answer to my question in post #5 should be no.

Game.....set.........and match.

Now check out my latest thread & have some fun with a delusional Red Sox fan.

...it was meant as a joke, but if all your answers are "yes" I don't know what to tell you...and your answer to post #4 should be "touche".

...you can always put an * next to Matt Williams' 1994 season if you like.

Touche?...................my hair is real.

I believe Ken Griffey jr. commented on his '94 season being a bad year to have a good year. Some teams fell into that category as well.

does this mean Maris and 61* are back on top?
