I'm getting an XBOX 360! Did this really deserve a topic - ehh, maybe maybe not. But I'm pumped. I can't wait to play NBA 2k7 on it.

Anyone else here have a 360?

I have. I think they are over-rated. I like my PS2 better.

Yeah. I like the controllers better. The gfx aren't as good and the wireless controllers are cool, but I just like the ps2 better. I cant explain it.

I think Xbox had the best contoller EVER. Every thing feels good about it... And I though PS2's was great. 360's fits perfect...And yeah im getting 2k7 for 360

360 was rated the safest choice for a next gen console... the games coming out are amazing! 2007 is gonna be greatGears of WarHalo 3Mass EffectMany more...I would get a ps3 but they are mad expensive, and it's a gamble to spend 700-800 bucks on something you don't know is good.Need I explain the Wii? Have you seen the graphics? I mean it's original, but who wants to play short games that involve pumping up a rocket, hoolahooping, etc?So yeah, the 360 is very good. I just hate you have to pay (it's only like 5 bucks a month but you still have to pay) foir xbox live gold. And silver doesn't do you much good.

How is it garbage? Have you seen any videos of NBA 2k7 on 360? The animations and graphics are incredible. Plus, I played a little 360 at my cousins house once and it's crazy.

If you dont have an HDTV the 360 looks like the original XBOX.I might buy it in a year or so when games can be made to there potential.

wasnt the 360 bug filled or something?I have a friend at school who had the 360 and in about 2 weeks from getting it, the whole thing died on him. Looking around the internet, there have been some people who have had the same problem.If I get a 360 ill wait a while to see if Microsoft can fix some of those problems.

I also have an XBox 360, and it is truly worth the money in my opinion.Tony, I have a regular TV and the graphics on my 360 are atleast 10x better than the graphics on my normal XBox, and that goes for backwards compatible games too, so I really don't know what you're seeing.Xbox 360 >>> PS3.Oh yeah CB32, definitely get Xbox Live if you can, because that will just fulfill the 360 experience. The 360 isn't nearly as fun without XBox Live... and then I can own you! :HAHAHA: Just kiddin'...EDIT: And yeah, of course the 2k6 is going to be better on the original Xbox because the 360 version did not have any extras... it was purely graphics because they had to rush it to meet the deadline. Same with Live 06 and Madden 06... that's why those three games sucked. But this year they are going to be insane. I'd much rather buy a 360 then shell out $800 for a PS3. And if Bill Gates lives up to his promise and releases Halo 3 on the same day Sony releases PS3, well, game over.

No. People keep telling me that, but I really believe playing online is very very overrated. I have played at my cousins/friends house and I don't like it very much. Half the people online are "cheesers" and they either just dunk all day or they only shoot 3's. Plus, I like to heavily be involved in Association mode.. and I know you can do that online, but then you have to wait for your opponent to be online at the same time as you in order to play the game? That's terrible. If I want to play 3-4 games in one day, I will, I don't want to be limited.

And to top it off it costs money. It's like $50-75 per year, and that's retarded considering I don't even really like playing online.

It seems like their not much different from each other. Where the graphics and amount of info it can handle won't be drastically different if at all. It seems to be the only real difference is the bluray integration. And if paying 600 dollars for that is worth it, then by all means go for it. But I think I may end up getting a 360 over a PS3, simply because it's cheaper and there isn't many sole release titles for only PS3. The only one that jumps out at me is MSG4. And I'm not heavily into that series.

Nice CelticBalla. 360 is awesome. I've had mine for about 9 months now. BTW yes get Live. It seriously makes it way better. Also get Call of Duty 2. It is honestly better than Live or NBA 2k6. It's probably the funnest game I've ever played. BTW BigMo whats your gamertag and what games do you have?

I think 360 is the way to go, also expect possible delays and the crowds for PS3. That prolongs the price drop and availability.

CB32, you can always get the free xbox live, you get achievments and downloads and stuff... either way get Live, more options, and you just hook it up from your system to your modemAnyways for anyone who wants to add me my gamertag is WildaSquatch

Get Live? Haha no, I like real basketball not arcade unrealistic terrible basketball. NBA 2k all the way.

And I'm not getting any other game. The only games I play are sports games, 99% of the time it's NBA 2k.

As for the topic on hand, as Rok said, the prices won't drop anytime soon. It'll be at least 2 years until the prices drop, unless their sales are horrible, then they might catch on.

There was like a demo of 2k7 released a couple days ago. And people have downloaded it and played it.

There are a lot of more benefits than just playing... it just takes the whole 360 experience to the next level.
