It sucks getting old and seeing these big names from my youth passing away. I wasn't a big fan, but 53 is way too young.
 
He was part of some of the most epic performances in rock and roll history.

Sad to hear of his passing. He was one of the greatest white soul singers who ever lived. Along with Paul Weller, definitely the best of the 80's.

This was a rough year for me, with the musicians going. I'm a huge fan of ELP. And Rush called it quits.

I really loved the guys voice....his work with Queen and Elton John was incredible....my band covered four of his songs on request back in the 80s in Taiwan...we played the hits night after night until I was really sick of Careless Whisper and Faith.....my personal favorite record of his was Older....very Marvin Gay like vocals.....saw him perform a duet with Luther Van Dross in Los Angeles once....two great, great vocalists. RIP. The scary thing about all these 80s stars checking out this year is that I'm the same age as a lot of them or close to it....GM was really young at 53 but it seems like all the guys from the 70s era are making it to 69...puts life in perspective....makes you want to take that social security check before you lose it....I'm hoping not doing coke or hard drugs at all will buy me another decade at least...
 
Man, 2016 isn't messing around. Taking peeps to it's very end. And there is still five more days left! It's seems like someone is dying every other day. My dad passed away at the beginning of it too. So much fucking death this year.

LOL seriously, I think the man is scarred. The funny thing is, they both gave more to charity than he's likely given. Yet he'll shit on Trump like no tomorrow.
