5-0 and highlighted by some decent wins:
74-48 vs. Vanderbilt
83-79 vs. #18 UNLV
They play #22 Cincinnati tomorrow at 7:30 PST.
Kyle Singler's brother, E.J., has been go-to-guy, but the story of the season for Oregon seems to be the impact of the transfers Kazemi and Woods (who transferred in a season ago).
Woods was one of those highly recruited, highly ranked (#20 overall on Rivals) seven-footers that most people just chalked up to a bust after his years at Wake Forest, but it seems like he's finally found a niche with the Ducks.
Arsalan Kazemi was an absolute stud at Rice the last three seasons. The Iranian dominated the C-USA and was able to transfer without sitting out a year. So far he leads the team in boards with modest scoring numbers, but both his scoring and rebounding numbers figure to spike as the season goes on.
So there's a lot to be excited for if you're an Oregon fan this season.
Could it be... the Ducks win the Pac-12 in basketball, not football?
