OT So I needed a headboard....but I hate them.

The wall got dirty where my arms and pillows pushed up against it. Figured I'd buy a headboard but I hate them because my feet already hang off the bed a bit.

May have started a thread already but now it is finished. Painted the wall on either side a really dark grey. I dig it.

Looks good. Something orange in color would really tie it all together. Artwork maybe?

Very nice. My headboard is slatted wood and so fucking uncomfortable. If I ever get extra fuck-around-time I have an idea to build pillowed subunits that I could lean against and remove easily for cleaning.

I sleep with my pillow hanging half off the bed and my arms hanging off. Not my entire arm but my elbows. A headboard pushes me 3-4 inches farther down and my feet hang off the end.

I have long legs (for my height) and a tiny torso. I'm 5'9" but have a 32 inch inseam. In basketball terms, it is pretty useless because you don't play defense with your inseam.

Five inches taller with shorter legs. On say a Southwest Airlines flight my whole head sticks up over the top of the seat and 99 out of a 100 people seem to be level or below.

It was really helpful in highschool football because people my size couldn't move me. Too bad I hated football and went to a small school. Might have been a real player. I just loved basketball instead.

My fuck-around-time usually ends up being a headboard destruction project, than a construction project.
