Interesting quotes ...

Raymond Felton said that fans/media are wrong to assume that he won't be a member of the Blazers next season: "They don't dictate that. That's all I'm going to say. They don't dictate that. If it happens, it happens. I'm not going to close no doors, no way. I would love to play here. We'll see what happens. The media and fans, they don't dictate that. People can say what they want to say. I don't care." Open to coming back? "Of course, definitely, definitely... I would love to come back."

Raymond Felton says Blazers management have broached topic with him & his agent about possibility of a future in Portland since the trade deadline: "Yeah, they have definitely have talked. That's something I don't get into. That's something I let my agent do. My job is to play basketball. That's his job to take care of all that."

What happens is this team doesn't get one fucking dime of my money.

I might boycott the team if that happens. Not only does he suck, he comes off as being a jerk. We would be foolish to not let him walk.

He was just quoted telling his critics to meet him where he stays near the Pearl.

For what? Is he going to share the bag of candy he eats before games?

Here's what Felton's quote should have been: "Yeah, they have definitely have talked. That's something I don't get."

Lmao dude ain't gonna be here next season. He could average a fucking triple double the rest of the way and I doubt management resigns him. Just thinking that management or any fan base forgets how fuming out of shape he came. How he didn't take a lick of responsibility for the teams struggles. And more importantly, how he bitched about being benched only shooting a dismal 30% from the floor.

Raymond Felton said that fans/media are wrong to assume that he won't be a fat member of the Blazers next season: "They don't dictate fat. That's all I'm going to say. They don't dictate fat. If fat happens, fat happens. I'm not going to close no refrigerator doors, no way. I would love to play here fat. We'll see fat happen. The media and fans, they don't dictate fat. People can eat what they want to eat. I don't diet." Open to coming back fat? "Of course, definitely, definitely... I would love to come back fat."

The way he started off in PDX (fat & clanging) pretty much soured the longterm possibilities of reupping. But especially the way he's playing of late as he's finally rounded into shape, I don't begrudge him trying to publicly save face to snarky questions like this.

Lesson learned, but good luck!

I hate Felton, but if management decides to give him a contract for next year I'll hope that he comes into camp in shape and returns to the form he showed in NY and Denver. If I see a repeat of this season he's going to extremely tough to pull for!

No f'ing way Felton is re-signed here.. that would be dumber than the Z-Bo and Miles contract. That'd be awful.

He's been so bad, he may even be reviled at the vet minimum.

I don't re up for NBA league pass, and become worse than I was when Nate was here on this forum

There is no way Felton will be here next year. We will trade him on draft night.

Isn't Felton an UFA?

My fear is Crawful re ups

There is no way Crawford "re-ups". If he does, then Portland can send him anywhere they want. Does he really want to risk that and end up in Charlotte? Crawford is definitely worth 5 mil PER, even playing streaky like he has been.

The thought is too horrible to consider. I will be forever grateful to Felton for freeing me from Nate. Now get him the hell out of town.

Why is the heck would POR want to keep Felton? I don't care how well he plays in these last few games....

Just the fact that you tried to deal him (with an expiring contract) and NOBODY would even take his sorry ass ought to serve as a GIGANTIC red flag....and now you want to pay the guy and keep him?

talk about asinine....

He came in fat and out of shape
He quit on his coach
He bitched and sulked about his playing time to other teamates and was generally a bad influence on many of them
and most importantly, he has sucked on the floor, bad shooting, piss poor decision making, dribbling the ball of his foot\leg to guiness book of world records proportions....

cut bait with that loser...I don't EVER want to see him in a Blazer uniform again....Let alone him rubbing lotion on himself after a game while discussing his poor performance with a shrug and "I don't give a shit" attitude....

Most hated Blazer player EVER and it is not even close to me...

What if Felton agrees to being a backup PG on a short and relatively cheap contract?

Than we win. Felton would make an great backup. It's the pressure situations that he's failed in, if we land a big time PG, Felton would be awesome for an uptempo second unit.

Why is the heck would POR want to keep Felton?

Because this:

Felton > Flynn > Smith

I want him out of town. No need to have him anywhere close to the roster next season
