Some confusion!

I met this girl about a three weeks ago at my friend's brithday party, who was her friend too. We talked, and then danced and chilled together all night. We made out on the couch for a long time; we were both really drunk. And at the end of the night, she gave me her number and told me to call her.


I didn't call her for a week after (unintentionally). I thought she was just drunk and, I just didn't call for some odd reason.

She went to high school with three of my female friends so she kept asking them why I hadn't called and told them she's waiting for my call. My friends told me she's asking about me too. So I said screw it, and called her after a week from the day we met. We talked for extended period of time. I grew to like her alot and the fact that she was really hot certainly helped. I knew for a fact that she wasn't a slut or any where near it.


So we've been talking for about two weeks now and I already met her up at her school one day, and we met again at another party. I already asked her out and she said yes.


But....

Yesterday.. I wanted to know where we're at and if there's anything even going on between us. We talked for an hour and a half on the phone. I asked her what's going on between us, and the following convo occured (paraphrasing):

Me: So...what's going between us?.. is there something or are we just wasting time? I like you, and I wanna see what's going on, because if there's nothing, we can just move on and remain friends!

Her: I like you too, I just got off a serious relation two months ago, and I just wanna take it so slow, because I'm not ready for a relationship yet.

Me: I got too much on my plate as well these days so I sure as hell wouldn't mind taking it slow, but I wanna know there is potential for something down the line or there's something between us happening and we're not just wasting time.

Her: Oh, there is definitly something happening between us, but if you wanna talk to other girls I don't mind, I don't want you to settle, just be honest with me.

Me: WTF?!!! But I just that I liked YOU and I'm done sleeping around and talking to girls, as slow as we may take it, at the end of the day, I still wanna know that you're my #1 girl!

Her: #1 girl? awwwwwww took you time to say that!...and no, ofcourse I will be jealous if I see you talking to other girls, but I don't want control you. As far I'm concerned, I'm not going to be talking to other guys.


So we just pretty much wrapped it up after these comments and went to bed. She said she's not my girlfriend or anything, but she likes me!!.. there's something going on between us but she doesn't mind me talking to girls I just have to tell her??!!


I'm not a boyfriend type of guy, I've always just stayed with girls for "fun" and gets bored easily, but I really like this one like I liked no other ho before. And this stuff is just too confusing.


Can someone enlighten me please? What's going on?

You guys are pretty much just flexing/checking. When she's "ready" I'm sure she'll let you know or give you some sort of signal hinting for you to ask her out again. This time, she'll obviously say yes. This exact same situation happened with my first girlfriend ("I just got out of a serious relationship")...it took her like 2 months to be "ready", but yeah.

Just get it out in the open, ask her if your in a relationship with her or not.

Anyways, you shouldn't really care. If you like her, just be really good friends with her, and probably something will happen. Just hang out with her is my advice; so she can make up her mind, and it'll escalate from there.

I'll tell you now, women are the most confusing thing on the planet, I'd rather dismantle a time bomb than try and work out whats on a womans mind.

Dont put your life on hold for her, because then she'll realize she can manipulate you easily enough, if you have eyes for another girl during this time, then go for it, you have no commitment to this girl, it sounds to me like she is just sh*t testing you a bit.

Since you sound sprung, I advise you to take it slow. If she likes you too it shouldn't be difficult to bag that, but just be careful not to get a broken heart since you just met her and seem really into her.
