when I was invited to this site, I thought it would be a great way to connect with more of the BlaerNation. to some extent, that was accurate; some of you have been cool. like any other website there have been posters who are less than cool.

i have thick skin. extremely thick. however, i do not tolerate uneven moderation on a web site. so, someone can troll about me in like six threads, but i can't make one post about the truth of the matter while calling him a name which he claims to appreciate. that is complete and utter bullshit. i told the moderator the same exact thing in a pm.

i have not lost here, and for sure no one has beaten me at anything. i tried something, and it's not going to work for me. I am leaving here with my own convictions and the provable truth. i greatly appreciate the support or people like ABM, GOD, along and many others, but this is not the place for me.

i have requested that the administrators allow me to completely delete my account. that's what I want and, even if they cannot figure out how to do it, i have a backup plan. thank you to those who have supported me here.

I haven't read most threads lately, so I don't know what you two are talking about, but my advice is:

Return in a few weeks with a gender-neutral name and avatar. After a few months of cementing gender-neutral relationships, you can disclose your sex, like Minstrel did.
 
There is nothing to be gained by deleting all your posts.

There was a young female college student who used to rarely post on ESPN several years ago and here (or was it BBB?). The name ended with "s"

I can't remember.
 
I'm not saying there haven't been some pretty ridiculous assaults on her, but she has been looking for a reason to leave and to have her account deleted over something so minor as Sly deleting all of the posts (including hers) from the attacks between her and Max and MM... well...... all I can say is drama llama.

She was getting all huffy over a signature that I had of something Blazerboy30 posted.... which had nothing to do with her directly. It was a spat between BB30 and I, but she took it as some kind of slight on her. She said she was going to leave in a PM then, so this hardly comes as any kind of surprise to me. She wanted out. She wanted to take her ball and go home. Good luck and god bless.

She has a good point about uneven moderation. And that's not a rip to any of our mods or how they handled her "situation" but over my time here I've been a bit baffled.
 
I don't even know what the drama was. The fact that people get all riled up because of a message board is still kind of funny to me. Umm, if it affects you that much, maybe you shouldn't do it? Also, why do people post the "I'm leaving thread.". How about you just leave and don't say you are leaving? This has to be the biggest flameout ever. From poster to mod to leaving in 2 weeks. LoL.
 
If I was to get upset at these clowns every time one of them said something that bothered me or was a personal slight, I'd probably be...well, it'd mean I'd have to start really giving a shit about most of them.

Especially that bastard HCP.

wow..sure..this is just the ninnynet, and this is just a BB board...but to place the blame on her? Really? man..I know most of you are young, but you are not stupid. To find humor in being hatefull and abusive is something most guys here can ignore, but nice people are not attuned to the 15 year old reddit/4chan attitude, and expect to be treated the same online and they do in person. Cool beans..run off people and snicker after they go..keep your littl circle jerk.

I thought that was the point of this thread. The title says some will be happy, others not. If you don't want people to comment on your decision to leave, then don't create a thread for such topic. I found the OP's Blazer posts interesting and repped some of them. I didn't follow the drama so I don't know of the hateful and abusive comments you are referring to. Clearly the OP was not mature enough for this place and if they feel that they need to go for their own well being, then that is probably the best decision for them. The quick flameout in general is kind of funny to me, sorry if I snicker about that. But, since the OP isn't here to read it I don't think they will get that upset about it.
 
What I saw was a few corporate upper management types....doing corporate upper management type of things. Its a boys club up there for good reason. Not dissing but its engrained in their culture to have an alpha dog attitude. if she is at stanford and wants to get into the corporate world she has to deal with this shit, so in a warped way, those that were doing it were preparing her for life! :MARIS61:
