Sometimes I really hate cops

I bet everyone here has been followed (checking license plate), pulled over for a light bulb out, etc.
Well I ran into my (black) friend in Milwaukee at the Chevron at he said he was driving along the 4 lane stretch and a cop did a U-turn to pull him over for a small head light that was out. The officer then went to the passenger window where a woman was sitting and said that he smelled pot. The whole vehicle was searched while a second cop showed up as "backup". I smelled their car at the Chevron and all i could smell was a faint "cigarette" smell in his nice Acura. Well, anyways this pissed me off because he is a really down to earth nice guy and so was his friends (hot passenger btw).

I told him of Portland PD tailgating me on 82nd and NE Fremont about twice now within the last year. They'll see me drive by in my 4 door bright red pontiac grand prix with chrome wheels and check out my tags. I am a white boy with no tinted windows, no music blaring. The summer before we had a PD motorcycle sting on NE 57th and Sandy Blvd and this cop did a U-turn at 2:00 pm in the afternoon follow me for 2 blocks, check my tags and then do another U-turn going back the other way on Sandy Blvd. Did he use blinkers no.

I know PD and other law enforcement put their lives on the line but lately I am agitated by their behavior and should follow mostly the rules like everyone else while on duty.

Cops are pricks? Ooooh, this is new.
 
I once got stopped by a cop for walking down a side walk, less then mile where prostitution use to be pretty common. According to Mr. Officer he was afraid that I might jump out in front of a moving car and get hit, cause you know, I had done that sooooo many times before. :rolleyes:
 
Racial profiling happens in Portland. I was once told by his brother, that Travis Outlaw was pulled over six times in one night or something like that. It was his rookie season. I couldn't believe it.
 
I wish we had more cops like Mahoney.

one summer one of my buddies got pulled over like 40 times before he got a ticket (he was actually driving around trying to get pulled over for some reason. one of my other buddy's got pulled over for speeding, no licnese...he also cut through a library parking lot and jumped a curb....again, no ticket. both were white....its pretty cracy.

Portland cops are lame as shit. fucking speed trap having motherfuckers.
 
Some black people are racist so I'm sure it wouldn't surprise anyone if a black cop happened to be racist.
 
Cops scare me, not cause they will give me a ticket, it's because they are brutal drivers.
 
Being a cop must suck. You spend your entire day dealing with maggots who lie to you. When I get pulled over, I always make sure I'm as polite as possible because being an asshole to them is only going to make their likely shitty day even worse. And why would I want to antagonize someone with immediate and direct power over me?
 
Lets face the fact. When your in school, there are bullies. Half of them go on to become cops. The other half become criminals.

That doesn't make them equivalent. I think cops do a hard and thankless job. I cut them some slack.
