No problem so far. Went to Costco on Monday and there was no wait. But it was $3.19/gallon, which annoying. Rather ironic (and enjoyably so) to live in the region that has always been the first one bent over a post whenever a gas crisis occurs now to be the last to get hit. And to watch the parts of the country who have always had the cheapest gas, experience how other parts of the country live. The idiots who were hoarding toilet paper a year ago are now trying to hoard gas. America just gets greater every stinkin’ day……….
We never did see the benefit from gas pricing going into the toilet last summer.

It’s all a plot by the red states to undermine support for Biden and sweep Trump back into office to save us all. Green font aside, I really do believe it’s all political and always has been. Funny how quickly gas prices alway skyrocket for a shit ton of dubious reasons, but they inch down excruciatingly slow when there is no apparent reason for them to be elevated. Our corporate masters at work, as usual……I really don’t buy this hack bullshit, sorry. The idea of a physical pipeline being shut down indefinitely due to computer hacking is a dubious one. Pipeline infrastructure shouldn’t work this way. It shouldn’t take a week of standing around with dicks in hand to run fluid through a pipe. There are physical overrides to mitigate this. There is more meddling going on here than what’s being told. I’ve worked on pipelines and booster stations from ground-breaking to completion. This doesn’t make any sense.
No it started to go up when Saudi and the rest of OPEC didn't increase production to match increased demand, thus increasing their revenues during the busy season.Didn't prices start going up a lot after Biden closed the Keystone Pipeline?

I voted for Joe and support him but Ive been concerned about his view on oil and gas.
Lst year at this time we were basically energy independent and a leader in oil exports, now it appears we are very vulnerable. I wasn't for the shutting down of the Keystone which also put many out of work. If this is all about The Green New Deal and going that way I wont vote for Joe in 4 years.
Yeah I knew it was being built, just one of the things I disagreed with was stoping it. Thanks the feedback. The Keystone pipeline is still operating. The Keystone XL is what you meant. It wasn't shut down, it was not built.
Even if it had been built, it would primarily be used to import oil from the Canadian oil sands. That source of oil isn't particularly economically viable right now, so the actual difference not having the pipeline right now is probably not that big a deal. And it would have negatively impacted our 'energy independence', given that it's for importing oil.
I will grant that some construction jobs were lost when the pipeline was cancelled - and probably some environmental cleanup jobs down the road.

How do the cops handle that... she spit first, but he got out of the car and went over and spit on her and grabbed her.... who do they arrest? Both of them?
Two people are charged with assault after a fight in a line at a North Carolina gas station as a fuel pipeline shutdown sparks panic-buying, authorities said.
Knightdale police officers were called to a Marathon gas station in the town on Tuesday afternoon for a report of a crash and a disturbance related to two people fighting over spots in the line, according to a statement from the town.
The man and woman argued over spots in the line and each spat in the other’s face before the fight turned physical and a cellphone was damaged, police said.
Video posted on Instagram shows two cars bumped up against each other at a gas station. The video shows a woman apparently spit at a man in a car and he gets out to apparently spit on her. The woman in the video hits the man and they struggle for a few seconds before separating.
The woman was charged with simple assault and the man was charged with assault on a female and damage to personal property, police said. Both were cited and released with a pending court date
Been in a few altercations with drunk chicks tried to hit me and kneed me in the nuts. They were vicious, but they hardly did any damage.
No, paid about $3.50 yesterday.
