Please vote for the teams that you guys believe are the best teams. The leader of the division will be taken and put into the playoffs accordingly. The rest will be put with the rest of the league to determine the non-divison leader seeds in the playoffs. Please everyone participating in the GM Draft vote. This poll is not limited to the Southeast Division, everyone is free to vote here.

Ooops. I shoulda went with Wizards. Maybe. But I also liked the Bobcats' youth and depth, and feel that Duncan and Ray are gonna decline. Still, the Wizards have depth......idk

Every one of these teams seems to have a gaping hole somewhere. It boiled down to the Wizards or the Magic for me. Both are very nice teams, but I'd be scared of TJ Ford getting hurt, and Duhon is only a capable sub for him.

The Magic are strong enough at the other 4 positions to not be hurt by Noah's limited offensive game. Though it's not bad to have a double double guy who's able to defend at the C spot.

Come on, Barbosa as a starting PG? Noah would get eaten alive by Duncan. And his backups PG's and C's are laughable

I have Duhon and Head available to play if Ford did indeed get hurt. We'll get to see what Duhon can do in NEW York this year.

BTW I voted for ghoti's team since I couldn't vote for my own.

Double Post

Ellis is plenty good a combo guard that they're not going to have trouble getting the ball across court or getting the ball to players in the offense. AK47 could almost play PG for them if need be, and also play some PF. Not every offensive scheme requires a traditional PG.

Duncan and Allen of a couple years ago and your team is competitive with the championship Spurs teams.

I calls them like I sees them.

+1, repped

You guys know Ellis is out for a good long while, right? Even with him in, I'm not sure they overtake the Wiz (as long as Duhon takes plenty of minutes from Ford).

Yeah, I hadda put him on my IR in the 2nd draft.

Im going with the bobcats. They are good all around. Biggest weakness for me though is the sg spot. they seem more like sfs than sgs.

Well, Dunleavy has at least a season of experience at the SG spot, after playing alongside Granger, Murphy, and Foster throughout most of the season. So, he couldn't be all that terrible. He must be at least competent.

Im not saying his sg spot is necassarily bad, it just seems that both of them are more sfs in my eyes.

Derrick Rose will see plenty of minutes at SG depending on matchups. Rafer can guard twos.

Rafer can't guard anyone, let's be honest here. I'd feel more comfortable with Dorell Wright guarding twos. Hell, I'd be more comfortable with Peja guarding twos. Maybe not.

Two players I like are Ukic and Pecherov. If they have good seasons, the Magic could be a surprise playoff team. If not, though, it will be a long season because of frontcourt depth and lack of a PG.

pegs, Skip is one of the best defensive PGs in the league. He is an excellent man defender and his team defense is Van Gundy style impeccable. The Rockets sucked on D when he got injured last year.

lol who voted for Miami? I'm glad to see myself against the Bobcats because I definitely think we have the 2 best teams in the division

you should lose voting priveleges.

You should have never had voting privileges to begin with.

Rafer's defense is average at best. He's never been a good defender in my eyes.

That's really wrong. You need to watch some Rockets games. Skip had a great case for MVP of that team last year and a lot of the reason was his defense.

How you gonna tell me I'm wrong? I watched those Rockets games, they were on TV a few times, and I watched a few online. I didn't see anything special about his defense, I just saw him get burned in a few games.

I have no idea what you saw. I guess when I get home I'll post some links praising Skip's defense if you need them. Or a Rockets fan can jump in. It wasn't a coincidence that they only started losing when Alston went down. The guy played great on both ends.

I voted for Ghoti because I feel guilty that I didn't vote him for Funniest Nets Poster :(
