Spirit Of Portland Sternwheeler Gorge Cruise

Has anyone been on the 5-hour sternwheeler dinner cruise up the Columbia? It's the one that begins at Cascade Locks.

Planning to do that this Sunday. Was just wondering if the cruise/food is worth the $84 each.

well worth every penny. Did it a few years ago, was windy as heck. Take a wind breaker even if its sunny.

The cruise is great, the food sucks. The best sternwheeler cruises are the ones during the Blues Fest. They take that days performers and put them on the sternwheeler late at night. It's sooooooo mjuch fun!

That was my first choice. She thought it would be a drink-fest and put the kibosh to that notion. She's in the cruise business, so she's seen just about everything.

That said, we're still doing the Blues Fest on Monday and staying for the fireworks.

Nah. Although, Hawaiian girl frequently texts me to see when I'm gonna "finally" move back there, Seattle girl has captured my fancy. I'm a contented soul.
