I started Mike Williams (SEA) over Mario Manningham. Williams scored zero points and Manningham scored 13. I started Rashad Jennings (MJD's backup for JAX) over Joseph Addai. Jennings scored two points and Addai scored seven. I lost the Super Bowl by one point.
This season I lost both my starting running backs (Maurice Jones-Drew and Frank Gore) as well as Terrell Owens as Malcolm Floyd to injury for the Super Bowl. I lost Brandon Marshall and Joseph Addai for huge chunks of the season. What's worse is that I didn't lose by one point, but by one yard. A one yard loss by the Vikings' QB--which was initially ruled a sack--was ruled a zero yard loss, therefore no sack. However, in reality it was a loss (by less than a yard). ESPN's site recorded it as "no gain" instead. It was the difference between winning and losing as a sack counts as two points.
I feel snakebit.
