I heard The Yankees have released Jacoby Ellsbury from The 40 man Roster as per Yankees PR Department.

Just saw that article on ESPN and the Yankees gave Bird the 23 skidoo DFA as well. Bird looked like a new member of the 1s Base Yankee Chain too bad what happened with him. As for Ellsbury thank God & Greyhound he's gone but he sure got over on Cashman and the Yankees en-route.
