Cedric Jackson had his third triple-double of the year with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists (plus five steals), Antoine Walker had 23 points and 10 rebounds and Carlos Wheeler had 21 points and 10 rebounds as the Idaho Stampede won their final game of the 2010-11 season 95-92 against the Utah Flash (28-22).
With a Texas Legends double-overtime win against the Austin Toros, they pulled even with the Stampede (24-26) in the final standings, but won the tie-breaker keeping Idaho out of the eight-team playoff for the second straight year. The Stampede finished the year 22-13 after a 2-13 start.
Idaho led by as many as 17, but behind a 25-18 Utah fourth quarter, the game was in doubt with 3:17 left at an 86-86 tie. Wheeler had eight points in the final quarter. Sean Banks added six to finish with seven off the bench. Tony Bobbitt had 14 points and seven rebounds.
Willie Jenkins recorded just one point in 13 minutes, but became the only Stampeder to see action in all 50 games (Jackson played 50 games, but only 36 with Stampede after trade from Erie).
Utah had seven players reach double-digit points, with Ryan Thompson leading the way with 16.
