The Idaho Stampede outscored the Iowa Energy by eight points in the final quarter to beat the hosts 115-107 Sunday afternoon.
Idaho jumped out to a 31-13 lead behind 11 early points from wing Justin Holiday. The Energy narrowed the gap to 63-57 at the break.
The Energy continued their surge after halftime as the two teams were knotted at 84-84 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Idaho, who made seven three-pointers on the night, rallied past the Energy in the final stanza with 31 points in the quarter.
Holiday led Idaho with 33 points and 11 rebounds. Jason Ellis added 14 points and 11 rebounds in the game for the Stampede.
Justin Hurtt led the Energy with 24 points while Gus Gilchrist added 19 points and 11 rebounds off the bench for Iowa.
The Energy head on the road for games at Rio Grande Valley and Tulsa this week. The next Iowa home game is Sunday, March 10th at 4pm.
