The Idaho Stampede kept their win streak alive with a victory over the Delaware 87ers by a score of 115-88.
Idaho caught fire quickly, using a 20-0 run in the first quarter to take a 25-7 lead. Delaware answered with a short run of their own at the end of the quarter, bringing the score to 32-19.
The 87ers came out strong in the second quarter and eventually tied the game at 36. Delaware guard Aquille Carr led the push with 20 points in the first half. Idaho forward Richard Howell helped the Stampede regain the lead and take a 53-43 advantage at the half.
The Stampede outscored the 87ers 33-20 in the third quarter and never looked back, leading by as many as 37 points. Pierre Jackson had a game-high 27 points. Richard Howell added 18 points and a career-high 17 rebounds for his seventh consecutive double-double. Dee Bost posted 22 points, eight assists and seven rebounds.
Kendall Marshall and Aquille Carr scored 22 points each for the 87ers. Mfon Udofia pitched in with 17 points and JR Inman helped with seven points and 10 rebounds.
The 87ers (2-6) take on the Iowa Energy on Saturday while the Stampede (7-0) continue their eight-game road trip with a visit to Fort Wayne to play the Mad Ants.
NEXT HOME GAME- The Stampede will host the Texas Legends at CenturyLink Arena on Friday, December 27 at 7 pm.
