I'd like to see Nate reverse the roles and start the bench tomorrow night against GS, and bring the starters off the bench. Yes it would get the starters some rest. But that's not the reason.

Since the game doesn't matter in the standings or the playoff seeding anyway, I'd like to see the backups start the game as a reward for all their hard work and the support they've given the starters all season.

I think it would be a good team building exercise to boot.

Nate: Start the bench and tell them to run and have some fun.

Patty/Armon/Babbitt/Johnson/Barron should all play 40+ mins.

+1. I don't wanna see any Blazer on the court tomorrow exept those listed above. All our regular rotation guys need all the rest they can get.

Win the game! For pride!

I hated throwing the last game last season. We should have won 51.

I say we just play it like it's a normal game. I want to go into the playoffs with confidence.

If the Blazers are going to make the decision to rest the starters for a large part of the game, they should not do so with any thought that they are simply tanking or not taking the game seriously or even that they are taking it easy and resting. By making a conscious decision to reward the bench by letting them taste starters action and starters minutes, with the normal starters backing them up, I think it would change the focus in a positive way and not be detrimental to the team's confidence or focus going into the playoffs.

Not that Nate would ever do that, anyway. :)

I'm pretty sure Nate will start the game like normal, and rest the starters in the 3rd and 4th.
