Each team had 12 fouls

I like when refs let the players play....but when you play the Warriors you need the game to be ugly. You can't beat them in a free flowing game. It has to be a slug fest. We would have been better off if they would have called the game as usual. But instead we had a game where Bogut had ZERO fouls in 32 minutes. That is huge for a team who relies on screens to get a lot of their 3's off. Bogut is a walking offensive foul. I would estimate that half of his picks were illegal tonight . Wasn't that a point of emphasis last year? And he had zero called?

If I wasn't so pissed I would laugh about it. I guarantee he won't get away with that against the Clippers or Spurs. Those high picks are too crucial to their offense.

Not just the high picks but the ones right under the basket that would free Curry up to the opposite side 3 point line. As many as 2 side steps every time.

or Warriors shot 12/26 from 3 (46%) while Blazers shot a poor 7/24 (29%), there's the difference right there

I thought there were a couple stats of the game.

Fast Break points: 34-5? Holy Transition Batman! Tough to give up a 29 point deficit on easy baskets and be anywhere near the Warriors. Portland was fortunate enough to be as close as they were. That is a ridiculous number and while most teams will lose that to Golden State, that gap is simply unacceptable if you want to win.

+13: That is what Meyers Leonard was in 8 minutes off the bench. CJ was a +11. The next closest Blazer? Steve Blake at a +2 (playing with Meyers and CJ most of the time) and then Robin Lopez at -1. So what did a +13, 2-2 shooting, 4 points, 8 rebounds and 1 assist in 8 minutes get young Meyers? A permanent spot on the bench in the 2nd half. Stotts will say it was because their bigs couldn't get out on the the Warriors perimeter shooters but Meyers is the most athletic, mobile big the Blazers have. He is perfectly suited for a game against the Warriors. Instead, Stotts goes with his ever-loving homunculous lineup where he had Dame, CJ, Blake and Crabbe in all at the same time. That produced offensive rebounds for the Warriors on 4 consecutive possessions.

If Meyers had done poorly, I get it but he was as good as he could be in the minutes given and was rewarded with bubkes. Not exactly the way to reward good play. I've never seen a coach with such a random rotation especially when someone is doing well.

Yep 10-24 from 3 and that game is way different.

Bogut is such a cheap player, I actually like the Warriors as a whole, but man he's something else.

I noticed that about Leonard also; and saw Steve Kerr replying to a question (about Portland going small in the second half) with a smirk and comment to the effect that they usually are very happy when other teams go small against them.

Kaman was horrid last night, so I was happy he got benched. But I couldn't figure out why Meyers didn't get more play.

And the moving screens...oh my god the moving screens. The league HAS to do something about "screeners" turning into the defender and running them 10 feet off of the ball handler. It's ridiculous.

The moving screens and down field blocking was BAD when we played the Clippers and I was surprised to see the same thing from the Warriors. Also the flopping last night took me by surprise. They flopped A LOT. Most of it wasn't called, but some of it was, and at key times.
