"MAYBE" Cal could have scored 28 points in 13 mins and "MAYBE" our offense would have fallen asleep and not scored anything but than again LMJ would be healthy in the game for that scenario to be played out. I like my odds and still think both or your attemps at "what if's" are laughable and DEAD WRONG!!

What exactly are the odds of a team named Cal with a QB named Maynard scoring 22 points (thats all that was needed) in a 4th quarter agains Oregon backups, on ESPN, at Autzen on a Thursday with light rain, a bit of a SE Breeze going through the Stadium and Puddles on the Jersey?

Not necessarily. Maybe he gets hurt while on the sideline. Maybe he slips in the shower. Maybe he gets hurt later in the week during practice. Maybe he falls down a flight of stairs while walking to a class.

And maybe he plays against ASU anyway. FACT is, nothing is a fact until it actually happens, including your proclaimed hypothetical future fact.

I personally think the Ducks were trying to run up the score against Cal. I have no problem with that, I hate it when teams let up and let the other team back in the game. But I think there's bad blood between the two teams because of the close game they had in 2010, where the Bears faked those injuries.
