I am so pissed. We haven't scored in two games. We have one empty net goal is 8 periods. And somehow that equals let's bench Miller, on the 2nd line last night, and keep Glass, Stemp, and Fast in for him. I am starting to get fed up with AV because of this. There is no logical answer for why he is doing this.

Can't score...okay let's keep Glass in. Unreal.
 
Glass hit someone and set up a scoring chance. Miller might as well go back to hartford now. LOL
 
The bar is so low for Glass. He had a few hits last game, oh we need to play him now.
 
the top players look absolutely atrocious and disinterested.

BTW...this is another team that plays always like it is game 7 of the stanley cup finals against the rangers and the rangers look like they could care less.

That's it. Won't watch this shill. Rangers appear to justify
his playing with that absurd contract. He destroys the line
he plays on.....he does not contribute the way JT Miller does.
Miller is being used as a scapegoat for some odd reasoning that
only AV and Sather know. Soooooooooooooo wrong.
Fed up with their playing Glass who happens to lead the team in
minus rating. What a busted purchase....a total negative influence.

he hits people and the opposition scores 95% of time he's on the ice.
And he's not a team player.
 
I am not defending Glass and dont want him in the lineup. I am just saying he gives a shit. Unlike some other top paid guys who look like they could care less.
 
chuck, what does this have to do with this game? I just said Glass looks the only one in this game besides hank who gives a shit.
 
I just have this feeling.......Rangers may package JT Miller and others
in a trade and keep Glass. ??????? I hope not.

If it does happen, the fan base will be very pleased! LOL....with anger.
 
Finally woke up. Give Glass some credit in this game. He has looked decent in this game and had a fight. Sparked the team. Thats why we signed him. I agree his contract is still beyond moronic.
 
Ok. Staal celebrates new contract with goal and Kreids off a great pass by Stepan comes in on the breakaway and scores on the "Kreider move", the fake, deke and backhand into the net. Stepan is getting paid Glen and the longer you wait the more your gonna pay him!!
 
Stepan is getting at least 6.5 million per. The guy looks like a number one center now.
 
You said all the top players look like they are on vacation and don't give a shit. I am saying get a grip. We lost two games. One after a trip West, first home game back is always tough, but no excuses the Isles owned us, especially in the 2nd period. And last night at a very hot Boston team, without Step and with Cam in goal, was always going to be a tough game to win. And honestly we had a few breakdowns, but we weren't terrible last night.

As long as we win tonight I was fine. We were going to lose some games. The way it goes. Hold on in the 3rd tonight and we are fine IMO. The last two games were tough. We weren't going to win every game in this very tough stretch. If we win tonight we have done a great job during this stretch, which was mainly road games as well, as we close it out at Pitt.

This team cares...you can see that.
 
Chuck, they did not score for like 9 periods. The team has looked dead up to the point when Staal scored.

You know what would be nice, the Caps losing a game in regulation for once...
 
I think your wish might come true tonight, they are down 1:0 to the preds who have had a great season so far.
 
Agree, chuck. The only thing that made the two losses hard to fathom.......
not being able to score. All teams have flaws, some more than others.
