Yeah. About the time they all went into rehab. Ironic isn't it.........How is this guy (and his shitty band) still around? Haven't put out anything even remotely decent since the mid-70s...

Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, 74, says he’s spent $6M on cocaine in his lifetime

Damn. That's alot of cocaine for one person. How is he still alive?
It's not the coke that kills ya, it's the cut.
He probably got some quality cocaine.

I saw them at the Portland Speedway in '75, with Journey (pre Steve Perry) and Bachman Turner Overdrive. Aerosmith drove up the middle of the infield in a limo, poured themselves out of it onto the stage and played one helluva set, albeit way too short. Apparently all the substances were wearing off and needed replenishment.......In the early 2000s, I saw Aerosmith in the Tacoma Dome with Kid Rock opening. That was one hell of a fun rock and roll concert.

They were a hell of a rock band ...get a copy of Big Ones and that compilation pretty much says it all....one of the good greatest hits albums out there....Eat the Rich is awesome..Tyler is a force of nature when he's on. All these guys are road casualties from endless touring and partying. Leon Russel once said, yeah but they got nuthing on Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis...those motherfuckers were crazy! In the early 2000s, I saw Aerosmith in the Tacoma Dome with Kid Rock opening. I agree, they only had a few hits. Tylers voice sucked and Tylers' attitude towards other bands in a lineup was immature. He had this reputation of sabotaging their equipment so only his band would be appreciated. How is this guy (and his shitty band) still around? Cuz that was far and away the tightest security at entry I have ever seen. They were slapping liquor bottles out of concert goers hands at the front gate.....then making everyone walk through the broken glass. It was a clusterfuck. Fortunately I had a 2 quart canteen filled with the good stuff. Since it wasn't glass (and security, with a wink bought my "it's only lemonade" lie) they let me bring it in. And Stephen was already having a hard enough time standing on his own. He didn't need my help........Why didn't you offer to share?!?
