Six players scored in double figures as the Bakersfield Jam (23-9) defeated the Los Angeles D-Fenders (13-19) 115-103 Saturday night at the Dignity Health Event Center.

Bakersfield got off to a stellar start on both ends of the court as they shot 58 percent from the field (14-of-24) in the first quarter and held Los Angeles to just 38 percent (8-of-21). The Jam's strong performance to begin the game resulted in a double digit lead to end the first (31-24), led by Damion James who had 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting. From that point on, Bakersfield kept the lead throughout the game and the closest the D-Fenders got was within nine points in the third. The Jam are now winners of six straight games and continue to be perfect for the month of February (7-0).

James scored a game-high of 21 points while also grabbing eight rebounds. Stephen Dennis also scored a game-high of 21 points to go along with three steals off the bench. James Nunnally recorded 18 points, nine rebounds and five assists as a reserve for the Jam.
