Where do you get yours?

I'm stuck on Jimmy Johns. Fresh ingredients, super fast, reasonably priced and hot little breezies behind the counter.

Get the Beach Club; its got avocado spread, provalone cheese, alfalfa sprouts and cucumbers to go along with turkey. Bomb diggity.

I've always been partial to Togo's #8 with Provolone (turkey and roast beef).

In LA, I go to Bay Cities Italian Deli (Santa Monica) for their Godmother. one of the best things ever.

I thought you only went to Papa G's deli.

I think they bake it themselves. It has a super crunchy outside and pretty chewy but in a good way. absorbs all the juices inside. Always a super long wait, it gets INSANE on hot summer weekends.

here's another pic of it I found online:

pretty consensus opinion its the best sandwhich in LA.

Closer to me, is a chain called Mendocino Farms which does a lot of GREAT sandwhiches...freshly made. One of the best ones I've had was a braised lamb with mint and goat cheese....so fucking bomb.

this is their Porchetta, which was great

THE PORCHETTA – Slow Braised Pork with Roasted Garlic Whole Grain Mustard Aioli, Fresh Housemade Spicy Giardiniera (please ask!) and Cilantro on Dolce Forno Roll

Hmmm interesting. Lots of different flavors. Seems like it would confuse my tastebuds. I have a pretty simple palate.

Yeah, it always works out though.

I remember in my youth I used to love those gigantic 3-6 foot sub sandwhiches from albertsons we've had at b-day parties...so bomb.

ever go to Bunk Sandwhiches? Its been on my list for a while but never make it out there.

Never have.

Gosh, I ate a damn good sandwich at this place in St. Louis. It was a smaller chain thats in the midwest and south. Pretty damn good. I'm trying to think of the name. They had bomb french dip sammies.

I'm a pretty big cheesesteak fan too. But my experiences are pretty limited with those.

Hot Italian Beef sandwiches are the bomb. french dip, but they have those peppers inside and the giardiana....so good. didn't get to get it on my recent trip to Chi-town.

I want to go to Philly to get a cheesesteak at like 3-4 places. a few other sandwiches there too.

you really can't fuck with Italian places though, they do the best sandwiches...the ones where they slice it up fresh with proscuitto and copa, etc, some fresh mozzarella...the bomb.

Oh yeah, in SEATTLE, I ate at Salumi, which is Mario Batali's dad's place...awesome stuff, the Copa sandwhich....really bomb shit.

I've wanted to try Salumi, but everytime I've gone by there is a line out the door.

There's a cheesesteak place on 82nd called 'Cheesesteak Nirvana'. Its the tits and has huge portions. Best bread ever.

I've also been to Honey Hole in Seattle, which isn't bad either.

Bunk sandwiches is pretty good, i've had their signature pork belly a couple of times, when you add the hot peppers it puts that sandwich over the top.

The cheesesteaks in philly are so damn good and all i've had are the "big boys" steaks, i didn't even get to try some of the smaller shops in town. I had Gino's, Pat's and Tony Luke's. All three were awesome and breaking it down, Gino's had the best bread, Pat's had the best beef and Luke's was probably the best overall, but that's like picking a favorite child.

Subway. Eat Fresh! I like the buffalo chicken foot long.

I haven't been there in years but there is (was?) a little greek grocery store that made the best subs on NW 23rd across from Good Sam ... I have no idea if they're still in business but it's pretty fantastic.

LoveJoy Deli son!!!!!!!! That was my girlfriend Dina's parents deli! BOMB sandwiches! They sold to another Greek family around '99...... Went downhill from there!

east side deli is where its at for me... been to bunk but never really been a fan

Anyone go to Taste Tickler? I remember it being good back in high school. But that was 10 years ago so, it may have changed since then.

The Mad Greek Deli out on SW 185th is another good one.
