Could miserable golf turn around the desolate life of Tiger Woods?
These are not buoyant days for the Icarus of Isleworth. A four-day flop last weekend on the sun-scorched fairways of the Bridgestone Invitational left the 34-year-old Mr. Woods a sad stroke out of last place and looking more dejected than displaced Mets outfielder Jeff Francoeur.
"Shooting 18 over par is not fun," Mr. Woods said at the end of his Ohio odyssey, which saw him finish with a score of 298, the worst mark in his career.
