So, I don't give a shit about the SuperBowl because American Football bores me to tears. (Sure, I can watch 2 minute highlights, but the actual games consist of 4 seconds of action interspersed with 4 minutes of ads.) But I do notice that they've picked Lady GaGa as a halftime act and the cast of Hamilton to sing the anthem.

Hmm. Those seem, let us say, novel choices for America's Most Conservative sport, especially in this time of anti-Trump furor. Just wondering (a) if someone in charge of booking talent is a shit-stirrer, or (b) if they've been told to STFU about politics.

Huh? Football is a "Conservative" sport?

LMAO....no it isn't. NASCAR is a Conservative sport, and good luck trying to get Lady GaGa anywhere near a racetrack on race day. The fans would openly revolt.

Football hasn't been Conservative in a few years at least. This is evident by the fact that Kap was able to keep up his little "protest" all season long without the league telling him to grow up.

I'm most definitely looking forward to the SB, but I am NOT looking forward to the Halftime show. As soon as I saw GaGa's name on the list, I just knew she was going to turn the show into a SJW statement.

God forbid we watch a sport without being bombarded by Social or Political statements. Don't we get enough of that shit on the news and online?

Hopefully I'm proven wrong, and she shows SOME form of decency, and keeps her biased opinions to herself. But judging by the fact that the league has already come out and openly said that they will not censor any messages of hers about Trump......I'm not holding my breath for that to happen.

Not at all. I like Lady Gaga. She is a fine american. I know nothing about Hamilton because I'm not interested in musicals.

Say what you will, but Lady Gaga is the Madonna of Today and her shows are known to be out of the ballpark good and extravagant.
I am expecting something of serious quality regardless of personal musical tastes.
 
The local news said Ray Charles was going to play, is there someone alive who she could have confused him with. Or, not only does the Superbowl get better live talent than the inauguration, they even get dead guys.
