After seeing sound bites from Obama yesterday, talking about how terrorism is a criminal problem, the above article and news is a preview of things to come if Obama's vision comes true.

Except that terrorism is not, properly speaking, a mere criminal problem - and thinking that it is is extremely foolish for any candidate. The problem posed by terrorism combines elements of the criminal and military, and it can only effectively be counteracted by addressing both elements. It's comments like that that make me seriously leery of Obama, or more properly, whoever is advising him on these matters.
