That's pretty ridiculous... but it'll definitely draw ratings. I'm not a Survivor watcher but i'll definitely be checking this out.
 
Lol to raise some controversy, who do you think will win???
 
i'm watching it right now- its amazing how physically slanted it is in favour of the white and asian team. e.g. 4 out of 5 members of the black team are overweight, while all members of the asian and white team look like they live in the gym.
 
the asian team won the first challenge, and the black team as predicted by me lost the first one. as a sidenote- the asian team is awesome physically and intellectually. i can't believe i'm watching this.
 
Yea, the first episode pretty much proved that race isn't a factor at all. It's all about how athletic the tribe members are and how they get along.

Also, I predict the caucasian tribe signing a treaty with the rest of the tribes at some point, and then breaking it to have an all-white final. j/k.
 
Lol, not to sound racist, but I found it ironic that the Asians, who are known for being smart, solved the puzzle first. The blacks, who weren't known for being smart, struggled with it...

Other than that, I can see how CBS thinks this is a good thing. I find myself rooting for the Asian team, even though it's absurd to see that no Chinese are represented in the Asians, despite the Chinese being the largest Asian group in North America.
 
Damn, I don't see the premier until later tonight! Is it worth watching?
 
Not really. But, there's nothing much else on right now.

well the white team struggled as well and it was one challenge. your gloating reveals how insecure u are of your racial identity, it sounds like u need a tv show to reinforce your self-worth. if a white person was beating their chest like u they would be accused of racial insensitivity so i don't see how u would be exempt from that characterization.

look at the composition of the teams- its stacked in favour of the asian and white team in terms of age, athletism and the black team had no professionals, so they lacked organizational abilities which i think was critical in their lose.

Anyway, all races are equally human, its unfortunate that people are divided by very small differences.
 
race means nothing. The asians are loaded, even the old guy is pretty athletic and the rest look super athletic. Plus the old guy knows some sweet stuff. Lol, the black team got shanked. Nate even looks a little chubby compared to all the other tribes. The latino's got screwed too. that guy is huge!!

I was purely speaking from an unbiased point of view. Now if I predicted that the Asians would win the puzzle because they're smarter, I'd see your point, but the fact is the Asians did win, and I'm saying this after the fact. Note that I said the Asians had a reputation for being smart, not that they were smarter than the rest. Same goes for the black tribe.

I find CBS just pushing this racial divide thing. The Hispanics talked about them being known for paddling, and blacks saying they weren't known for swimming etc. Also, I didn't catch most of the people's professions but one Asian guy is a managing consultant and out of the blacks, one's a jazz musician and one's a nursing student. Totally playing into the stereotypes.
 
i can't believe that i'm admitting to watching this but a hispanic tribe member got voted off- they threw the challenge in order to an evict a guy who they felt was detrimental. i think may have put hispanics back 20 years on television, plus, it was a moronic gameplay.

Not only did that Ozzy guy lose a member, he now casts doubt throughout the whole Latino tribe. That cop woman knows that the other female went back on her promise, and Ozzy now probably won't be trusted by anyone else. Just plain stupid to throw the challenge.

Find it funny that the big guy actually found love in the game - with someone from another tribe. Interesting to see how that'll turn out.

Well all of them ended up voting for Billy so if anyone looks two-faced it's the cop. What I cannot understand is why the tribes have such a difficult time making fire? If you were auditioning to make the show, wouldn't you spend time practicing how to make fire and learning some basic survival techniques?
 
There was a video circulating around the web a few months ago that shown proof that Survivor is entirely fake. I mean absolutely all fake. If I find a link that will show you all about that I'll post it, but the website is gone because I can't seem to find it anymore. I suppose they were forced to take that down.

No, the host only got to calling out four votes before it was clear Billy got the majority of the votes. I thought that the cop's vote was unread, presumed that it wasn't for Billy.

They show who everyone voted for at the very end when they are running the credits.

Does anybody else think that this show would be more entertaining if it were filled entirely with ethnic comedians? The idea of different races competing would be more pronounced and entertaining with them.
 
the tribes integrated and cecilia, a member of the former hispanic tribe was voted off. and the white and asian tribes formed an alliance at least on that specific tribe.
 
I was hoping they would go another two episodes before they integrate the tribes.

Yeah it was kinda soon to merge the tribes. Oh well, still a cool show.

Only it was an one-sided thing lol.

My bet for winning this is Yul. The immunity idol will carry him far and he is very strong physically. And Ozzy is a rat.

What else is new? This is what's so damn pathetic about these reality shows; everything they do is driven by the need for ratings and contoversy, so they do all this crazy crap to try and get you to pay attention. Worthless show, worse idea.
