Anyone know what they are giving out tonight? Car flags was a bust.. in fact the intro was weak too dammit!
 
I liked the car flags - I've seen them all around town the past two days.

Maybe its just less for me cause the population who attended in Hood River is less than that in Portland lol.
 
I hope they hand out rally towels or whatever. That always looks cool with everyone waving them around in the arena.

Yeah thats what I was hoping for.. or at least thundersticks.. something to make it more intimidating in there dammit.

Those car flags were made cheap as hell. It feels like it's going to break off when I drive on the freeway.

EXACTLY thats why they sit in my car.. the little clamp thing was NOT gonna hold my flags coming home on 84.

I'm not whining. I proudly display mine when I'm just driving around Portland, but I drive on the freeway a lot for work and I know it'd break off easily going at 65-70. Even at 35-40 mph, I'm looking up at it thinking man, this thing is on the verge of smashing into the windshield behind me.

I was slightly disappointed not to get anything. Oh well, I'd rather have a win than some cheap crap!

I'm sure the Rocket bench would love it if 10-15 fans sitting behind them all had drums, especially during time outs when Adelman is trying to talk to the team. :lol:

i was very disapointed in the game crew.

1. Same opening as regular season, i liked it in the RS but you gotta come up with something for the playoffs. work on it during the regular season and have it ready to go.
2. No swag, not really upset too much cause the stuff is usually hella cheap, but it would have been nice.
3. Same old same old in timeouts/at the quarter. i know standard tv/appliance pays alot but at the end of the first, we make a nice run capped by a roy 3 at the buzzer. the whole place is going nuts, chanting and screaming, and here comes dumbass todd with a lady looking to win a range. all the energy drains as everyone sits down in their seats and hopes the lady embarrasses herself and can't find the damn thing.

That's always been my biggest complaint about the game ops. Seems like they always have to stick with their script no matter what happens. We could go on some gigantic 20-0 run to bust open the game in the second or third qtr capped by a huge alley oop to Rudy, and then they trot out some stupid bicycle racing game with Ronald McDonald...

They save all of the timeouts where people can get up on their feet and cheer for the final 3-4 mins of the game. It sucks.

And where the hell are the opening fireworks? I knwo we cant use flames now. But seriously weak ass intros.. I totally could have used something with the Enter Sandman intro they were using, along with fireworks and lights.. come on step it the hell up!
 
As far as the intro, I think the Game 1 intro didn't go over too well with the crowd as no one cheered through it. So they went back to that old reliable one they have for the big games in the regular season. Oh well.
