Trade for JO! (And Keep RJ!!)

JO makes 19.71 mill this year. substract 100k, and multiply the result by 0.8. the result is 15.688, and that is the amount we have to match.</p>

Collins-6.1M will expirenext year, and we have someexpirers this year too (Magloire-4M, Boki-2.5M, Cliffy-0.5M, Wesley 0.25M, Wright-1.68M, DA-1.22M, Allen-0.96M)</p>

The interesting part is that Collins+Magloire+Boki+Cliffy+Wesley already amount for13.35, and thats basically 3 players.</p>

We need 2.34M more to get JO, and it helps if we put in something that Indy likes. Krstic-1.89M, Marcus-1.18M, Boone-1.13M and Sean-1.42 weren't mentioned yet, becausethey don't expire yet, and they have some pontential too.</p>

Marcus is probably the most valuable for Indy, so he has to be involved. Now we need only 1.16 more.</p>

My deal is:</p>

Collins + Mags + Boki + Marcus + Allen + Gill (+Cliffy+Wesley) for JO</p>

Indy can buy out the unwantedexpirers, to get under the roster limit. And we can sign them back after a while.</p>

In fact he is a very tough defender. And he is a skilled offensive player.</p>

He is very soft and seeks to avoid contact. When he is on offense, it is ridiculously simple to force him to shoot a fadeaway. His man defense is average at best.</p>

I compare his situation with VC, then again, Indy's doing well and wouldn't he want to get out on the court for that. I think there may be serious injury issues with him.</p>

There are 2 issues with your proposal. This will put the Nets 3-4 million over the luxury tax. You can't trade players that are not on the active roster. I can see Indy eventually unloading him for trash and maybe one future piece, no more Bynum.</p>
