Tanner Glass out/Lee Stempniak in

Tanner Glass has been sent back to New York due to flu-like symptoms and will not play today against the Flyers. (Gross, NYR)

Lee Stempniak re-joins the Rangers lineup after being out the last three games.

I don't love that is took the flu to get Glass out of the lineup, AV should have done it flu or not, BUT getting him out is the main thing, so I'll take it.

The real test will be after the game if we win, which I think we will. AV has almost always stood pat line-up wise after wins and when the team plays well. If we win and AV benches someone to get Glass back in the line up it will be clear Glass isn't going anywhere.

If he has the flu, you have to figure win or lose Glass is out today AND tomorrow. If we win both and then Glass is back in Monday that would be crazy by AV, and I can't see it.

I happen to think we lose today with Philly fired up after getting shutout by us last game, and struggling overall right now, they are due against Talbot. But I think we pay them back tomorrow at MSG.

I expect Glass out for both AND if we win tomorrow I would expect Glass out Monday also...we'll see.

Although I do think the return of the captain helps our cause today and should give us a lift. Still edge Flyers, but McD being back makes it closer IMO.
