Unless there is significant opposition, I want to discontinue the Tapatalk features and compatibility for this forum.

Since our change in forum software a little over a year ago Tapatalk is not needed. This forum displays great on smartphones and tablets.

Thoughts?

It's an app that about 50 people use to access the site. Alternative to using a browser. Before we switched forum software , it was the best way to view the site on phones.

I have it downloaded... but I never go to S2 on my phone.

I just use a browser on my phone never have a problem

what do you benefit from disabling it?

The Blazers will re-tweet our game threads. Right now whenever we post a link to the forum from the RipCityTwo twitter account a tapatalk ad embeds in the tweet.

Understandably, the Blazers aren't interested in promoting tapatalk.

That's clearly a description of Lebron dribbling down a court and the dots are him running while palming the ball

But Riverman Lebron doesn't travel

Try using the actual Twitter app instead?

I have the twitter app installed on my phone for my own twitter account. I tweeted a S2 link and the tapatalk ad embed in my tweet.

So it appears that anytime someone posts a link to the forum on twitter Tapatalk is going to include an ad about cars and photography.

No ad.

Used the Twitter app.

Something you're doing. I don't see the ads.
